Dear Friends,

I am looking forward to the opportunity to speak at the 'Retired Employee's Association' (REA) of Santa Clara luncheon in Santa Clara.  I am grateful to Bill Wallace, Chair, REA for hosting the event back in 2010.

In my brief statement/speech, I will talk about my background, some of the issues (Fiscal, Economic, and Environmental) I am passionate about and why a 'fresh & diverse' perspective is necessary at the City Council particularly in this election year, 2014.

One of the issues I am passionate about is the 'retail development' in Santa Clara. We need to create a strategic plan with community, business, labor and academic input to help target investments to achieve high quality jobs, career mobility opportunities, and greater economic infrastructure. I also mentioned that all economic development plans should be integrated with housing plans so that job growth and housing opportunities are considered at the same time.

I am looking forward to many more opportunities to meet with as many residents as possible over the next ninety days as we head to polls in early November 4th 2014. I invite the residents/voters of Santa Clara to join my facebook 'like' page. Please click on the link below and you will be added to my like page:

Lastly, please do not hesitate to contact me via email or phone, if you've have any questions or concerns at 408-840-4013 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

 Kind Regards,

Mohammed NADEEM, Ph.D.
